I am writing concerning the Vaccination for the Human Papaloma Virus. While I consider the Executive Order of the Governor of Texas ludicrous and a usurpation of parental rights, his order has brought the debate out in the open, and for that, I am thankful. For the first time, many are learning that Cervical Cancer is a Sexually Transmitted Disease.
There are rumors that South Carolina is considering such a bill.
1. The Execute Order of the Texas Governor takes Rights from Parents and our Founding Fathers often stated that it is the obligation/right of parents to educate and care for their children.
2. The vaccine has only been on the market for eight (8) months and there is not enough information concerning the long-term effects.
3. The impact that this vaccine could stop cervical cancer may also be the catalyst to cause more deaths than the actual cancer by giving license to more immoral activity.
4. The opt-out for Texas is very complicated and any thought of a Mandatory Vaccine should not be part of any bill in South Carolina.
5. Texas has voted 6-3 to rescind the Governor’s Executive Order.
6. A Mandatory Vaccination could open up our state to a HUGE CLASS ACTION lawsuit.
I strongly urge all of you to consider writing your Representative and Governor Sanford. Parents must have the option to chose whether or not they want their child to have the HPV Vaccine.
i dont usually write to online blogs however i thought i would inject my thoughts here.
my concern is what the heck is going on in Columbia??????????
first they want to vaccinate the children then they want to lower the age of consent to 14 years old…….is this a pattern of a child molester? maybe someone could answer that on here if they have the guts to…. if anything they should be urging parents to teach there childern not to have sex until marriage..and a CHURCH doesnt hurt either…after living here for more than 19 years i have learned that most childern get married because they are pregnant (according to the United Way) for what thats worth….and that adults that have no respect for authority can NOT teach there childern to respect to anyone…walk down a side street someday where kids are playing and listen to the language that they are using, it is disgusting….
no wonder they are having sex at the age of 15 and less, doesnt anyone have morals anymore?

this is the first time that i have come to this web site or any like it and i am a new member of the pickens county taxpayers association and i do have plans to help in any way that i can to make this county more resident aware and resident controlled…. the residents are the government and we need to get that message back to the legislators in a strict, stern and meaningful way…
we need to take back what they thought they took from us……….
